6. Retention and deletion requests
Information is retained for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the game, resolving support issues, and meeting legal, accounting, or security requirements. The period depends on the information, the service, and the reason it is needed. Information no longer needed is deleted or de-identified, subject to applicable obligations.
To request deletion of personal information held by Beanstar, including an associated game account if one exists, email beanstargames@gmail.com with the subject Privacy / deletion request. Include the game's name and a player or account identifier if available. Please do not send passwords or full payment-card details. We may ask for limited additional information to verify the request and locate the relevant records.
Uninstalling a game or clearing its local storage may remove local saves, but does not by itself delete information already held by online services. Where another provider controls the information, its deletion process may also apply. Some records may need to be retained for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or resolving disputes; any applicable limitation will be explained in response to your request.
7. Security and international processing
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including restricting access to those who need it. No online service or storage system can guarantee complete security.
Beanstar is based in Canada. Service providers and publishing partners may process information in other countries, whose privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Such processing is subject to applicable privacy requirements and any required safeguards.
8. Children's privacy
Children's information requires special care. A game's store listing and in-game notices provide information about its audience and available features. Where parental consent is required by law, personal information must not be collected from a child without that consent.
